This declaration aggravated a hateful response from the Jews who attempted to stone him. By exclaiming Himself “I am”, Jesus applies a name for God to Himself.

Jesus’s Death and Resurrection

Jesus Chirst’s death and resurrection is also stated in the Bible as

“Jesus took the Twelve apart and said to them, We are going up into Jerusalem and all things that are composed by the prophets regarding the Son of Man will be accomplished. He will be granted to the Gentiles. They will ridicule him, disrespect him, spit on him, beat him and murder him. On the third day he will reinstated” (Luke 18:31)

Jesus certainly understood that He was the lamb of God, the Messiah referred to in the Old Testament. He aware of He had to live a life sinless despite any subject. Meanwhile, He comes back and He will deemster the evils of the world despite those who have earlier accepted judgment, entered a petition of condemnation and found His kindness by having faith in Christ.
