Simon Peter: Prince of the Apostles

Simon Peter also identified as Cephas was the foremost believer of Jesus Chirst. He was a candid and passionate student, one of Jesus’ best friend, an apostle and a pillar of the Church. (Galatians 2:9) 

Peter was zealous, determined, passionate and sometimes brash. However for all his strengths, Peter had various weaknesses in his life.

Simon was basically belonged to Bethsaida (John 1:44) and resided in Capernaum (Mark 1:29), both cities on seashore of the Sea of Galilee. He was wedded and beneficial companion in the business of fishing with John and James. (Luke 5:10)

Simon congregated Jesus via his brother Andrew, who had obeyed Jesus after listening John the Baptist manifest that Jesus was the Lamb of God. (John 1:35-36)
